President and CEO Jeff Thielman, SVP and Chief Advancement Officer Alexandra Weber, and Director of Public Policy & Advocacy Bill Gillett visited Washington D.C. earlier this month. During meetings with staff at U.S. Senate offices, the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement, The U.S. Committee on Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), and the White House, they discussed the opportunities and challenges of 

serving more than 15,000 refugees and immigrants a year, and the support needed at the state and federal levels to ensure that newcomers to New England find safety and success.
